     The STARPLUS DHS combines quality and value to provide businesses with a communications system they can count on. The DHS is available in 3 cabinet sizes. They are the DHS, the DHS-E and the DHS-L. The DHS system is initially equipped to handle 3 lines and 8 digital telephones, with flexible expansion up to 9 lines and 24 telephones or 12 lines and 16 telephones. The DHS-E is designed for use up to 18 incoming Central Office lines by 48 telephone stations. The DHS-L is for offices needing up to 144 combined incoming lines and telephone stations. User Interface Increases Employee Productivity and Satisfaction

     STARPLUS DHS telephones are available in your choice of Charcoal Gray and Off-White and are designed for communication effectiveness. Red and green LEDs make for a simpler user interface where the present call button displays green and a busy line button shows red. Flexible feature buttons and soft keys put sophisticated call processing at your fingertips.

Features That Are Easy to Use

     We’ve made sure that the features you want are easy to access through both the large LCD screen’s interactive buttons and up to 20 flexible feature buttons which can be programmed so users can customize their telephone to meet their needs.

  • Port Gain and Pair Gain - Analog adapters generate "port gain" which provides the flexibility to split the digital channel and serve two Single Line Telephone (SLT) devices. Up to 46 analog units can be supported by the system using this approach. Likewise, "pair gain" solves logistical challenges when you need expansion in a location that is limited by the number of cables serving it.
  • Voice Over Busy - With Off Hook Voice Over Busy a person can communicate with an inside party that is either on a call or using the speaker phone, without interrupting the outside party. A private voice reply can be sent by toggling the Mute button.
  • Interactive Soft Keys - Soft Keys located under the super-sharp LCD enable you to instantly access the most commonly used features as they are displayed on screen. For a conference call, just push the button as it appears on the display.
  • STARPLUS H-T-P switch - The Starplus H-T-P switch allows station users to selectively receive internal calls hands-free (two-way), with a tone signal or in Privacy Mode (call announce only). Dual color LEDs and confirmation tones indicate your selection.
  • DISA - With DISA (Direct Inward System Access) callers can dial a station directly from an outside line, eliminating the need to be transferred from an attendant. In other words, authorized system users can call in from any touch-tone telephone and access the system’s features, outgoing lines or internal telephone stations.
